Design Inspired by Tradition
The event’s visual identity was inspired by the iconic elements of Chinese New Year: red and gold tones, cherry blossoms, lanterns, and dragons. We elevated these elements with luxurious touches, red velvet runners, custom floral centerpieces, gold rimmed tableware, and branded menus and signage. Guests were welcomed by a bold, elegant entrance setup that made a perfect photo opportunity while setting the tone for the evening.
A Bold Encounter: Alligators Meet the Year of the Dragon
In true Wepah fashion, we wanted to create an unforgettable experience that would surprise and captivate our guests. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon in an unexpected way, we custom built a striking photo structure from the ground up, featuring live alligators. This immersive installation offered guests a rare opportunity to interact with these majestic creatures and snap extraordinary photos, blending the mythical symbolism of the dragon with the wild spirit of South Florida. It was daring, elegant, and completely unforgettable, just the way Wepah does it.
An Iconic Performance with Precision Behind the Scenes: Richard Max
As a highlight of the night, guests were treated to an unforgettable live performance by Grammy winning artist Richard Marx. His presence brought a level of sophistication and exclusivity to the event that matched the grandeur of the evening. Behind the scenes, Wepah managed every detail from coordinating the artist’s technical rider and hospitality requirements to ensuring perfect sound, lighting, and timing. A Spectacle of Entertainment Like No Other.
The evening unfolded as a true sensory experience, with every moment designed to captivate. Guests were welcomed by a dazzling fireworks display and a synchronized laser show that lit up the Miami sky. The immersive program included fire dancers, contortionists, and high energy performers who brought movement and rhythm to life. A water show featured a fire artist performing directly on water, an unforgettable visual masterpiece. Live music performances, including traditional Chinese melodies, added a rich cultural layer to the ambiance. Every element of the entertainment was masterfully curated to keep guests inspired and engaged all night long.
For this celebration, audiovisual logistics became a centerpiece of the experience. Our team engineered a full-scale lighting production that transformed the house into a stage: synchronized beams lighting up the property in perfect rhythm with the client’s favorite songs, creating a live light show that felt both intimate and spectacular. To elevate the personalization, we also designed and built LED screens from scratch, shaping them into custom letters that spelled out the name of the honoree.
